As a member of the German Youth Team, successful equestrian Antonella Kubella is based with her horses at the Isberg Icelandic Horse Stud near Hamburg. She uses tracking in HorseDay to make her training more efficient.

“The app helps me plan my training in a diverse way. It gives me a clear overview of how often I have gone on trail rides with a horse, trained on the oval track, or let it run alongside the quad. This ensures that my training never becomes too one-sided and keeps my horses motivated.”

Another advantage of tracking in HorseDay for Antonella is the ability to precisely monitor how much she has ridden a horse on the left or right rein during a session or over a longer period.

“This helps me develop a better sense of training my horses evenly on both reins, strengthening them optimally, and keeping them healthy in the long run.”

Beyond training, the app also makes comprehensive horse care easier for Antonella:

“I save all appointments—from vaccinations to shoeing and saddle padding—in HorseDay, so I always have an overview.”

Important details, such as information about shoeing or dental treatments, are securely stored and accessible at any time. Additionally, HorseDay enables easy and quick communication with the owners of her training horses.

“They can track each training session and all relevant care measures in the app. I regularly send them links to recent training sessions.”

This not only saves a lot of time but also ensures full transparency in training.

“I think it’s great that the owners of my training horses can stay connected with their horses through HorseDay and see exactly how I train them.”

In the HorseDay leaderboard, Antonella finds additional motivation and can compare herself with other Icelandic horse riders.

“It’s exciting to see how much I train compared to other riders.”

Among her greatest sporting achievements are victories in the Five-Gait Combination and Pace Combination at the DJIM 2024, the LK1 qualification in the F1 at the DIM 2022, as well as placements in the Five-Gait Combination and Speedpass at the MEM 2022.

We wish her continued success in the upcoming competition season!
